Former Paintball Köln - Köln, Germany - Quonset Huts on Waymarking.com

Am Fühlinger See im Norden Kölns ist die Paintball-Halle "Paintball Köln" angesiedelt. Die Halle wurde früher als Tennishalle genutzt und stand anschließend einige Jahre lang leer. Nun wurde sie zu einem Paintball-Feld mit luftgefüllten Deckungen umgebaut.

Am Eingang ist ein besonders auffälliges Graffiti an der Wand angebracht, das das Aushängeschild der Einrichtung ist. Es zeigt überlebensgroß eine Paintball-Spielerin während des Kampfes. Kunstvoll sind die umherfliegenden und zerplatzenden bunten Farbkugeln in Szene gesetzt. Außerdem ist das Logo der Paintball-Halle gut sichtbar integriert worden.

Update 2020:

Inzwischen wurde die Painball-Halle offenbar dauerhaft geschlossen. Die Webseite ist nicht mehr erreichbar, das Graffiti entfernt und die Halle mit Planen bedeckt. Über die jetzige Nutzung der Halle habe ich leider keine Informationen finden können.

The paintball hall "Paintball Köln" is located at the lake Fühlinger See in the north of Cologne. The hall was formerly used as a tennis hall and then stood empty for several years. Now it has been converted to a paintball field with air-filled coverages.

At the entrance, a particularly striking graffiti on the wall is attached, which is the figurehead of the establishment. It shows larger than life a female paintball player during the fight. Artfully, the flying and bursting colorful paint balls are staged. In addition, the logo of the paintball hall has been prominently integrated.

Update 2020:

In the meantime, the painball hall has apparently been permanently closed. The website is no longer accessible, the graffiti is removed and the hall is covered with tarpaulins. Unfortunately I could not find any information about the current use of the hall.
