Die "Hülle" ist ein historischer Aussichtspunkt in den Weinbergen von Königswinter-Oberdollendorf. Die Weinberge liegen am Westhang der Dollendorfer Hardt, dem nördlichsten Berg des Siebengebirge. Der Aussichtspunkt liegt auf einer Höhe von 150 Metern und man hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf diverse Berge des Siebengebirges, das etwa 100 Meter tiefer gelegene Rheintal mit Bonn und Königswinter, und bei gutem Wetter auf der anderen Rheinseite weit ins Drachenfelser Ländchen hinein. Die erste Etappe des Rheinsteigs sowie der Weinwanderweg Oberdollendorf führen hier vorbei.

Am Rande des Aussichtspunkts hat der Verschönerungsverein für das Siebengebirge im Jahre 2004 eine Gedenktafel zu Ehren des Naturschützers und Politikers Diether Deneke aufgestellt. Schon während seiner politischen Karriere u.a. als Fraktionsvorsitzender der SPD Siegkreis und Abgeordneter des Landtags NRW setzte sich Deneke für umweltpolitische und landwirtschaftliche Themen ein. Auch danach hat er sich in diversen Stiftungen und Vereinen für den Naturschutz in NRW engagiert. Die Gedenktafel wurde hier in den Weinbergen aufgestellt, weil er durch eine Flurbereinigung dafür gesorgt hat, dass der Weinbau hier fortgesetzt werden konnte.

Seiner Initiative sind zwei Weinbergflurbereinigungen - am Drachenfels und hier an der Dollendorfer Hardt - und damit Grundlagen für den Fortbestand des tausendjährigen Weinbaus im Siebengebirges zu verdanken. Auch die Restaurierung des Schlosses Drachenburg geht auf seine Initiative zurück.

"Hülle" is a historic vantage point in the vineyards of Königswinter-Oberdollendorf. The vineyards are located on the western slope of the Dollendorfer Hardt, the northernmost mountain of the Siebengebirge. The vantage point is located at an altitude of 150 meters and you have a wonderful view of various mountains of the Siebengebirge, the Rhine Valley with Bonn and Königswinter, which is about 100 meters below, and in good weather conditions on the other side of the Rhine far into Drachenfelser Ländchen. The first stage of the hiking trail Rheinsteig as well as the trail Weinwanderweg Oberdollendorf lead past here.

On the edge of the vantage point, the association "Verschönerungsverein für das Siebengebirge" in 2004 erected a commemorative plaque in honor of the nature conservationist and politician Diether Deneke. Already during his political career as a fraction leader of the party SPD Siegkreis and a member of the NRW state parliament, Deneke campaigned for environmental and agricultural issues. After that, he also has been involved in various foundations and associations for nature conservation in North Rhine-Westphalia. The commemorative plaque was set up here in the vineyards, because he had ensured through a land consolidation that the winegrowing could be continued here.

Thanks to his initiative two vineyard land consolidations - on the Drachenfels and here at the Dollendorfer Hardt - and thus the foundations for the continued existence of the millennial viticulture in the Siebengebirge were eststablished. Also, the restoration of the castle Drachenburg goes back to his initiative.
