Bei dem römischen Backofen handelt es sich um einen Fund aus dem frühen 3. Jahrhundert. Er wurde zufällig entdeckt bei den Ausschachtungsarbeiten der Stadtwerke Bonn für ihre Tiefgarage. Nach den Bauarbeiten, die von 1986-1988 stattfanden, wurde der Backofen an seinem jetzigen Standort wieder aufgebaut. Er steht zur Besichtigung vor dem Gebäude der Stadtwerke Bonn zur Verfügung.

The Roman oven is a find from the early 3rd century. It was discovered by coincidence in the excavation work of the Stadtwerke Bonn for their underground car park. After the construction work, which ranged from 1986 to 1988, the oven was rebuilt at its current location. It is available for sightseeing in front of the building of "Stadtwerke Bonn".
