National Lampoon's Vacation was the first of several comedy vacation films to star Chevy Chase. The film, directed by Harold Ramis and written by John Hughes, chronicles the Griswold family's cross-country road trip from Chicago to "Walley World" theme park in Los Angeles and the many antics that occur along the way.
As the family passes through Colorado, they spend the night at a quaint little campground near the town of South Fork where they meet the clerk (played by Brian Doyle-Murray) and discover less-than-ideal accommodations.
As you can see from the comparison photos above, the resort has made a few changes since the movie was filmed nearly 30 years ago. Let's just hope there aren't still ducks swimming in the "pool".
