The Jeppesen Terminal at D.I.A. has a roof that is 126 feet tall and is supported by 34 masts and 10 miles of steel cable. The roof system uses a cable system similar to that of the Brooklyn Bridge for stability and the ability to support wind and snow loads.
The airport covers 53 square miles (twice the size of NY's Manhattan Island. 1700 flights per day arrive and leave DIA.
