Die Burgmühle Großbüllesheim war eine Wassermühle am Erftmühlenbach. Zeitweise wurden bis zu 23 Mühlen an dem 11,5 Kilometer langen, aus der Erft abgeleiteten Bach betrieben. Neben traditionellen Getreide- und Ölmühlen waren dies auch Papier- und Walkmühlen zum Betrieb der örtlichen Papier- und Tuchfabriken.

Die Burgmühle war Bestandteil der Burg Großbüllesheim. Die erste urkundliche Nennung der Mühle war im Jahr 896. Sie bestand aus mehreren Gebäuden, der älteste noch erhaltene Fachwerkteil stammt aus dem Jahr 1700. Erst 1965 wurde der Mühlbetrieb eingestellt.

Anschließend wurden Teile der Mühle umfangreich renoviert, die seit 2002 als Wohnhäuser genutzt werden. Andere Gebäudeteile sind aber noch im Originalzustand belassen worden und leerstehend. Am Eingangstor wurde eine Informationstafel mit einer Zeittafel angebracht.
Burgmühle Großbüllesheim was a watermill on the mill stream Erftmühlenbach. At times, up to 23 mills were operated on the 11.5 kilometer long stream derived from the Erft. In addition to traditional grain and oil mills, these were also paper and fulling mills for operating the local paper and cloth factories.

The Burgmühle (i.e. "castle mill") was part of the Großbüllesheim castle. The mill was first mentioned in a document in 896. It consisted of several buildings, the oldest still preserved half-timbered part dates from 1700. The mill operation continued until 1965.

Subsequently, parts of the mill were extensively renovated, which have been used as residential houses since 2002. Other parts of the buildings have been preserved in their original state and are vacant. An information board with a time table was put up at the entrance gate.
