Die DITIB-Zentralmoschee steht in Köln-Ehrenfeld an der Venloer Straße. Sie wurde nach Bauverzögerungen am 29. September 2018 in Anwesenheit vom türkischen Präsidenten Erdogan eröffnet.

DITIB steht für "Diyanet Isleri Türk Islam Birligi", wird im Deutschen mit "Türkisch-Islamische Union der Anstalt für Religion e.V." übersetzt und ist eine der größten sunnitisch-islamischen Organisationen in Deutschland. Er wird vom staatlichen Präsidium für religiöse Angelegenheiten der Türkei gelenkt. Neben der Zentralmoschee in Köln baut DITIB aktuell eine weitere in Essen.

Die Zentralmoschee in Köln wurde von den Architekten Gottfried und Paul Böhm entworfen. Zentrales Element ist der 2000 Quadratmeter große Gebetsraum mit Platz für 1200 Gläubige. Die Form des Gebäudes ist eine teilweise durchbrochene Kuppelform und soll Offenheit symbolisieren. Daneben sind in weiteren Gebäuden eine Bibliothek sowie Schulungs- und Seminarräume angesiedelt. Zwei Minarette mit einer Höhe von je 55 Metern sind als halboffene, in sich gedrehte Türme gebaut worden.
The DITIB Central Mosque is located in Cologne-Ehrenfeld on the Venloer Straße. It was opened after construction delays on September 29, 2018 in the presence of Turkish President Erdogan.

DITIB stands for "Diyanet Isleri Türk Islam Birligi", is in German with "Türkisch-Islamische Union der Anstalt für Religion e.V." translated and is one of the largest Sunni Islamic organizations in Germany. It is directed by the State Bureau of Religious Affairs of Turkey. In addition to the central mosque in Cologne DITIB is currently building another one in Essen.

The mosque in Cologne was designed by the architects Gottfried and Paul Böhm. The central element is the 2000 square meter prayer room with room for 1200 people. The shape of the building is a partially open dome and is intended to symbolize openness. In addition, a library and training and seminar rooms are located in other buildings. Two minarets with a height of 55 meters each have been built as semi-open, self-winding towers.
