Current Goal

I am releasing this coin to celebrate the 4th July 2010. It likes to travel all over, but especially to Civil War sites, battle grounds, War Memorials, or to ride with soldiers, veterans and their families. Thank you for your service!

When the Civil War Series of geocoins first came out, I was very impressed and purchased the series for my personal collection. I have found very few in caches and am very pleased to see this own "getting around". I am leaving it in this cache so others can find it and take it on down the road.

Unfortunately the cache in the Pea Ridge Military Park was disabled. This is the closest I could get it, but it is still fairly close to the park. Also happens to be a neat hide as well.

Picked this up today on my way through Eureka Springs on my way home from a weekend in Branson. Picked this one out of all the travel bugs/geocoins in the cache because of the Civil War markings on it. I live close to the Pea Ridge military park. I know there are a few caches out there I am going to try to place it out there as it is very fitting I think. If not I will try to find another cache that is deserving of the coin to be passed on.
