Current mission is getting closer and closer and then back to J-ATBASH-te banho? [VN1000F]
(GCK8F1) and taking another deep dive into the waterfalls. If you succeed in this mission, document it (the cache has a disposable camera) and leave the bug there until a new mission is defined. Extra brownie points if it manages to visit another 2cotas trademarked "caches maradas".
Have you ever had the feeling you get attached too much to technology? Ever had the experience to loose an awful lot of data you just forgot to backup because accidents always (and only) happen to the others?
I was in love with a phone. The phone had a tiny little digital camera which took crap pictures that weren't that bad after all, a dozen important phone numbers and addresses (girls, mostly), passwords, homebanking access codes, random notes, the winning lottery numbers for the next 10 years, sources of inspiration, my secret recipes, games, utilities, a cool set of internet tools and an infrared remote control application, just to name a few. Could I squeeze that much stuff inside a mobile phone? Yes I could. And it would also let me make phone calls (people keep forgetting that).
Long story short: geocaching, me sitting on the floor with a backpack by my side, mobile phone on a open side pouch of the backpack, a lot of other valuable gadgets closed inside, some kind of steep hill ending in a luxurious waterfall just below me.
...
Don't ever try to outrun a rolling backpack falling into the water. You can't win. A tenth of a second is way too late. Most things inside the backpack managed to keep dry, but the mobile phone was already buzzing and flashing (short-circuit) when I got it.
I took it home, I opened it, I dried it with a hairdryer, I gently cleaned every bit of mobile phone left. I assembled it back again and sent it for repair, which proved to be useless.
(sigh)
