Hilfe für die Menschen in der Ukraine
Noch immer zerstört der Krieg in der Ukraine das Leben hunderttausender Ukrainer*innen, die täglich zu Opfern der Luftangriffe werden. Seit dem Ausbruch des Krieges haben mehr als zwölf Millionen Menschen ihr Zuhause verlassen, mehr als sieben Millionen davon sind Binnenflüchtlinge.
Zakarpatska Oblast liegt im Westen der Ukraine und gilt als sicherste Region des Landes. Ca. 500.000 Menschen haben hier bislang Zuflucht gefunden, die Hälfte davon Kinder. Mit der Ukraine-Geocoin sammelt der NABU Bundesverband Spenden für die ukrainische Partnerorganisation IERS (Institute of Ecological & Religious Studies), die seit Kriegsbeginn humanitäre Hilfe vor Ort leistet.
Es sind vor allem Frauen und Kinder, die in Schulen und Kindergärten, Studentenwohnheimen und Sportanlagen untergebracht und mit Betten und warmen Mahlzeiten versorgt werden. Traumatische Erlebnisse, der Verlust von allem Vertrauten und die Ungewissheit der Situation haben schwere Folgen für die Menschen, insbesondere für die Kinder. Mitarbeitende des IERS sind Ansprechpartner*innen für flüchtende Familien, schaffen sichere Räume, in denen sie Erlebtes vorübergehend vergessen können und lenken sie mit Kreativangeboten, Puppentheater und Märchenstunden ab.
Der NABU Bundesverband hat dem IERS zur Flüchtlingshilfe zunächst einmal 30.000 Euro bereitgestellt. Da zu befürchten ist, dass die Flüchtlinge wegen des anhaltenden Krieges längere Zeit nicht zurückkehren können, wird dringend weiteres Geld benötigt. Aus diesem Anlass ist in Zusammenarbeit des NABU mit Dachs71 sowie Mario vom LaserLogoShop diese Geocoin in zwei verschiedenen Versionen entstanden.
Die LE in black nickel wurde in einer Auflage von 250 Stück mit eingravierter Limitierung am Rand beauftragt.
Geplant ist ein Verkaufspreis von 25 Euro/Stück, damit auch etwas für die Ukrainehilfe zusammenkommt. Nach Abzug der Kosten für Groundspeak und der Herstellungskosten (mit Lieferung und Zoll) können für jede verkaufte Coin der LE-Version 18,41 Euro an den IERS gehen.
Die XLE mit einer geplanten Auflage von 20 Stück wird gesondert vergeben werden. Hier ist die Abgabe an die höchsten Gebote angedacht. Auch hier ist die Limitierung am Rand graviert.
Die Charity-Coins sind seit Anfang September in Deutschland erhältlich.
Neben Abgabe bei Events wie GC9VQEZ in Mirow und GC7G1GA in Essen wird es auch die Möglichkeit geben, dass diese zugesendet werden können.

Help for the people of Ukraine
The war in Ukraine is still destroying the lives of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians who are victims of air raids every day. Since the outbreak of war, more than 12 million people have fled their homes, more than 7 million of whom are internally displaced.
Zakarpatska Oblast is located in western Ukraine and is considered the safest region in the country. Around 500,000 people have found refuge here so far, half of them children. The NABU Federal Association uses the Ukraine Geocoin to collect donations for the Ukrainian partner organization IERS (Institute of Ecological & Religious Studies), which has been providing humanitarian aid on site since the beginning of the war.
It is mainly women and children who are accommodated in schools and kindergartens, student residences and sports facilities and are provided with beds and warm meals. Traumatic experiences, the loss of everything familiar and the uncertainty of the situation have serious consequences for people, especially children. IERS employees are contact persons for fleeing families, create safe spaces in which they can temporarily forget what they have experienced and distract them with creative offers, puppet theater and fairy tale hours.
The NABU Federal Association initially provided the IERS with 30,000 euros for refugee aid. Since it is feared that the refugees will not be able to return for a long time due to the ongoing war, more money is urgently needed. On this occasion, this geocoin was created in two different versions in cooperation with NABU, Dachs71 and Mario from the LaserLogoShop.
The LE in black nickel was commissioned in an edition of 250 pieces with an engraved limitation on the edge.
A sales price of 25 euros per piece is planned, so that something is also collected for the Ukraine aid. After deducting the costs for Groundspeak and the production costs (with delivery and customs), 18.41 euros can go to the IERS for each coin sold in the LE version.
The XLE with a planned edition of 20 pieces will be awarded separately. Here the submission to the highest bids is considered. The limitation is also engraved on the edge.
The charity coins should are available in Germany since beginning of September.
In addition to delivery at events such as GC9VQEZ in Mirow and GC7G1GA in Essen, there will also be the option for these to be sent.
