Original is staying in my collection sending a proxie out to see the world
Way back in 2001, the first-ever geocoin was placed in a geocache sitting above Puget Sound, near Deception Pass in Washington State.
It was an outing by geocaching pioneers Moun10Bike and Jeremy to celebrate Moun10Bike's 100th find. After climbing a questionably sturdy, and unquestionably high ladder to get the find, they each placed a trackable. Jeremy placed an unactivated Travel Bug for someone to find, and Moun10Bike placed a new kind of trackable in the cache: the first-ever geocoin to go into circulation (Moun10Bike number 002).
This now archived geocache, Light House Point, was a challenging way to celebrate this special milestone, and on that day Moun10Bike changed the game of geocaching forever.
Since then, geocoins have become one of the most creative and inspirational parts of this great game, and we are happy to celebrate 20 years of trackable fun and amazing designs!
This commemorative set of trackables was designed by our very own Roxxy, and is available for a limited time!

While spending extra time with my mom, the other half of The Von Fanges caching partners, thanks to a blizzard which prevented me from traveling home as planned, we compared our caching statistics including trackables discovered/retrieved/grabbed, etc. I found a list of TB Codes from your mailcall videos from 2020, which of course, reminded me that I hadn't watched any of your videos in quite some time. I believe that these TBs were from 2021 mailcall videos.

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent more time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. than I did. Thankfully, we both still had a few notes from our virtual discoveries that helped guide my search for additional trackables that could be discovered. I remembered spotting numerous trackable items in your MailCall videos and have started watch them again. I believe these trackables were included in the videos from 2021.
