Alljährlich am 3. Samstag im August findet der offizielle internationale Tag des Geocaching statt. Im Jahr 2020 ist dies der 15.08.2020. Zu diesem für Geocacher besonderen Tag präsentieren wir euch diesen tollen und sehr detailreichen Geocoin.

Beschreibung des Designers Chris Mackey:
The face of this coin showcases the healing hands of love coming together around the world to give support for each other, the earth, and the task of exploration. The love for sharing is strong in the community and twenty years later, it has only grown in scope and strength.

The reverse of this coin showcases the helping hands of people who care for our world by supporting the trees and forests of the lands on each continent. From the Red Maples of North America to the Oaks of Northern Europe, from the Baobab trees of the African plains to the Yunnan of Asia, from the Gum trees of Australia to the Palms of South America, the greenery of the world is as diverse as its people. In each land, people work hard to preserve and protect the earth for us to explore and it's pretty incredible to be part of a group of people who do so much to support that effort.
