About This Item

In May 2010 the DIRTBAG GEOCACHING SOCIETY was founded in Aberdeen, North Carolina, United States of America.

Subsequently the DGS (Dirtbag Geocaching Society) founded chapters in several US states. 5 years later in 2015, the DGS crossed the Pacific Ocean and won one of the first members in Australia.

One year later in 2016, the DGS also came across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. In 2017 a chapter was founded in Canada.

Since 2010, every first Saturday in May the members celebrate the foundation of the DGS.

The Society's goal is to promote quality geocaching while having fun. We are a group of geocachers who like to make geocaching to a big adventure.

One of the regulates: WE ARE BEER DRINKERS WITH A GEOCACHING PROBLEM!

We (Ruth and Reiner, Team vt601) became member of the DGS in May 2017. Since December 2019 we are proud to be full members in the Dirtbag Geocaching Society.

With this special GeoToken, designed by Reiner and Mario from laserlogoshop.com, we celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of the DGS in 2020.

Heute bin ich dazu gekommen mal meinen angehängten geoswag durchzusehen und zu bewundern. Also hab ich mir auch gleich die Zeit genommen alle Codes einzugeben. Ich bedanke mich Recht herzlich für diesen tollen token, der mir sehr gut gefällt. Ich hoffe es geht dir gut und du bist gesund. Ich wünsche mir sehr, ganz bald wieder viele Freunde und Bekannte mit denen ich dieses tolle Hobby teile, draußen in der Natur oder auf einem Event zu treffen.
