20 Years of Geocaching Original Bucket Set - The Can of Beans...
…der legendäre „Erste Eimer“ – besser bekannt als The First Stash! Anlässlich des 20-jährigen Jubiläums ist von Groundspeak diese absolut großartige vierteilige Geocoin herausgekommen! Der Eimer, eine Videokassette, eine Dose Bohnen und eine kleine Steinschleuder – einige der Artefakte, die Dave Ulmer im allerersten Geocache versteckt hat. Nachdem am 01. Mai 2000 Bill Clinton die Abschaltung des künstlichen Verrauschens des GPS-Signals angekündigt hat, wurde dies am 02. Mai um 12:00 Uhr mittags vollzogen. Am 03. Mai hat Dave Ulmer dann den „First Stash“ versteckt und veröffentlichte im Forum die Koordinaten N 45° 17.460 W 122° 24.800. Bereits am 04. Mai wird der Cache erstmals gefunden und damit war das Geocaching, wie wir es heute kennen, geboren! Am 07. September 2019 standen wir gegen 22:00 Uhr an diesem legendären Platz! Natürlich muss dann dieses großartige Coin-Set in meine Sammlung!
…the legendary “First Bucket” - better known as The First Stash! On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, Groundspeak released this absolutely great four-part Geocoin! The bucket itself, a video cassette, a can of beans and a little slingshot - some of the artifacts Dave Ulmer hid in the very first Geocache. After Bill Clinton announced on May 1st, 2000 that the selective availability of the GPS signal would be switched off, this was accomplished on May 2nd at 12:00 noon. On May 3rd Dave Ulmer then hid the "First Stash" and published the coordinates N 45° 17.460 W 122° 24.800 in the forum. The Cache was found for the first time on May 4th and Geocaching as we know it today was born! On September 7th, 2019, we stood at this legendary place around 10:00 p.m. in the nigth! Of course, this great coin set must be in my collection!

Hiermit habe ich deine Sammlung „The First Stash“ auch vollständig bewundern können. Die mehrteiligen Cans gefallen mir davon besonders gut. Vielen Dank fürs Zeigen!
Bei genauerer Betrachtung meines Lebensmittelschrankes habe ich diese Coin indirekt auch. Nur dass die Codes darauf glücklicherweise nur einmal an der Kasse discovert wurden.

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit mir die TB und GC Sammlung von mel-whv anzusehen Danke für das teilen und die Erklärung um welchen TB / Coin es sich handelt. Ich freue mich für die Erlaubnis deine beeindruckende Sammlung die Du mit viel Leidenschaft aufgebaut hast zu discovern. Diese Sammlung hat es wirklich in sich, da steckt viel Zeit drin und es sind richtige Schmuckstücke dabei. Es wird Wochen dauern bis ich alle in Ruhe bewundert habe. Ich bin begeistert.
