Let’s go around the world! In 1936, I traveled around the world and it took me just 97 days (44 days on the road). I also made „Big Apple“– the world record – I passed 5 300 kilometers in 100 hours and 55 minutes.

ŠKODA RAPID was constructed in 1935 in ŠKODA car plant, Mladá Boleslav, Czechoslovakia. In 1936, Czechoslovaks Mr. Bretislav Jan Prochazka and Mr. Jindrich Kubias took the trip around the world.
In 97 days (44 days in the road) they made a journey long 27 700 kilometers. They also broke the world record on the road from San Francisco to New York City (Big Apple) – 5 300 kilometers in 100 hours and 55 minutes.
During their journey, Kubias and Prochazka visited Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Soviet Union, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, Honolulu, USA and they came back to their native land Czechoslovakia through France and Germany.
