Let´s go around the world! In 1936 I have travelled around the world in just 97 days (44 days on the road). I have also created „Big Apple“ then world record – 5 300 kilometres in 100 hours and 55 minutes.

SKODA RAPID was constructed in 1935 in SKODA car plant, Mlada Boleslav, Czechoslovakia. In 1936, Czechovlovaks Mr. Bretislav Jan Prochazka and Mr. Jindrich Kubias took the trip around the world.
In 97 days (44 days in the road) they made a journey long 27 700 kilometres. They also broke the world record on the road from San Francisco to New York City (Big Apple) – 5 300 kilometres in 100 hours and 55 minutes.
During their journey, Kubias and Prochazka visited Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Soviet Union, Azerbaian, Iran, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Malajsia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, Honolulu, USA and through France and Germany back to Prague, Czechoslovakia.
