About This Item

 

My caching name - Balrogslayer's Mum - comes indirectly from Lord of the Rings.   In that trilogy the wizard Gandalf the Grey slays the Balrog and I am guardian to a beautiful grey tabby cat called Gandalf.   As this year's coin depicts Fur Tor, I thought it appropriate that Gandalf should be the "owner" - he can't do any worse than I did in last year's race ... finishing behind everyone else!

Indeed he did much better - finishing second!
