Originally developed for the military, "paracord" is now an essential part of any outdoor explorer's basic gear bag. In an emergency, the paracord in this lanyard can be used to secure a load, prepare temporary shelter, stabilize a broken bone, mark a trail, improvise a belt or replace a shoelace, and lots more.
