Pan314159 Cthulhu...

…ich habe Pan314159 selber kennen gelernt, zusammen mit Ratzies, auf einem Event in London im März 2016. Da war ich noch nicht der Coinsucht verfallen – ansonsten hätte ich ihn natürlich dort direkt angesprochen. Auf dem Giga in Hamburg 2019 sowie auf dem Mega in Bonn 2020 ist er mir ebenfalls kurz über den Weg gelaufen. Die Coin fand aber auf anderen Wegen zu mir in die Sammlung. Dies schreibt Pan über seine eigene Coin: Dies ist mein persönlicher "signature" Geocoin, mit meinem Namen und einem Horror- bzw. überirdischen Leitmotiv. Vielleicht hat man schon davon gehört. Diese Coin zeigt Motive aus der Cthulhu Saga. Es ist meine erste Coin, welche ich selber entworfen und produziert habe. Das Design bleibt gleich, jedoch gibt es sechs Editionen in unterschiedlichen Farben und ich bin sehr glücklich mit der Coin. :) Die lila-, grünglitter Edition heist "PanPi" und ist eine LE. Es gibt vier XLE, in deutlich geringerer Anzahl: Die glow-in-the-dark "Fallout" Edition, die neonfarbig "Neon" Edition, die black nickel "The King In Yellow" Edition und die kupferne "Bad Penny" Edition. Die letzte ist die "Ghost" Edition, meine Artist Edition (AE), die nur für Freunde oder für einen besonderen Tausch vorgesehen ist. Die Symbole auf der Pan314159 Geocoin stammen hauptsächlich aus der Cthulhu Mythologie, sowie weitere Symbole, die mehr oder weniger hinzu gehören. Auf der Vorderseite sieht man Cthulhu selbst mit zwei Versionen des "Elder Sign" (frei Übersetzt: Die alten Zeichen). Sie werden umrahmt von dem Satz: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", was übersetzt bedeutet: In seinem Haus zu R'lyeh wartet der tote Cthulhu träumend. Die Rückseite zeigt ein Mondauge, eine leuchtende Wolke und das Motto "This Too Shall Pass" -> was so viel heißt wie; "Alles hat ein Ende" bzw. "Auch das geht vorbei". Drumherum steht: "That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die." -> Es ist nicht tot, was in Ewigkeit begraben liegt und im Verlaufe weiterer Äonen mag selbst der Tod zugrunde gehen.

This is what Pan is writing himself about his coin: This is my "signature" coin, with my name on it, plus a horror/supernatural theme. For anyone that knows of it, the coins has themes from the Cthulhu Mythos stories. It's the first coin I've designed/made. It's the same design but in six different editions/colours and I'm very happy with them. :) The purple/green glitter "PanPi Edition" is the LE edition. There are four XLE editions in much smaller numbers; the glow in the dark "Fallout" edition", the day-glow "Neon" edition", the black nickel "The King In Yellow" edition, and the copper "Bad Penny" edition. The last is the white "Ghost Edition" - that one I'm calling my "AE" for friends and special trades only. The symbology on the Pan314159 coin is Cthulhu themed, plus a couple of other bits that are related. The Front has Cthulhu itself, plus the two versions of the Elder Sign and around it says: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" -> "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming." The Back has a Moon Eye, a Glow Cloud, and the motto "This Too Shall Pass". Around it says: "That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die."
