This coin should make a trip to all rocket launching sites or space stations in the world, for example Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (USA), the Baikonur Cosmodrome (Kazakhstan), the Centre Spatial Guyanais (Guyane française) and so on
. We would like to get some photos in your logs, if possible with the coin in the picture. If the coin is close by, we would also like to get some snapshots from NASA, ESA, DLR or other space agencies.

Begonnen hat das Weltraumzeitalter am 3. Oktober 1942, an diesem Tag erreichte eine A4 Rakete eine Gipfelhöhe von 84,5km, bei einer Spitzengeschwindigkeit von 4824km/h. Da die Mitglieder der Internationale Aeronautische Vereinigung sich darauf einigten, dass ein Fluggerät erst dann den Weltraum erreicht, wenn es eine Höhe von 100 Kilometer überschritten hat, kann man auch den Flug aus dem Jahre 1945 als ersten offziellen Flug in den Weltraum ansehen. In diesem Jahr schaffte die A4 Rakete eine beachtliche Gipfelhöhe von 200km.

On the 3rd of October 1942 began the space age, on this day the A4 rocket reached a maximum ordinate at 84.5km with a top speed of 4824km/h. As the members of the International Aeronautical Federation agreed that an aircraft only reaches the outer space, once it has reached a height of 100km, one can also see the flight of 1945 as the first offcial flight into space. This year the A4 rocket managed a remarkable peak altitude of 200km.
