Today is day 17 of my trip from the UK to Australia and my first actual trip to Perth City. I wanted to continue my unbroken Australian streak and today I was trying to find 6 different types of cache in one day: Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox Hybrid, Earthcache and Virtual. I am going to be trying for 10 different types, to include a webcam, CITO, event and Wherigo, in the UK in April, to try and raise money for charity, so this was a bit of a practice run!
I was heading to Shenton Park and wasn't paying attention to the route of the bus. I ended up going slightly farther than I was supposed to and ended up on Selby Street. When I had a look at where I was I saw that this one was nearby. I wasn't planning to go and get it but then noticed that it was a Large...something that I hardly ever see at home. So this meant I needed to keep going in the 'wrong' direction for a little bit longer. Once at GZ I was initially worried as there were some kind of works going on. However, once in the correct vicinity, I walked straight up to it and unearthed it.
Note to the CO, you may want to keep and eye on this as there are spray painted lines on the grass nearby, suggesting that they might be digging up this area sometimes soon. Thank you very much for the cache, and adding again to today's tally.
