This editions name is a phrase from the bible. The longer quote is: "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face." A more modern translation is: "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face."
The Cydra coin was designed by Gregson Vaux but every effort was made to make the coin as much Cydra's as possible. It includes the images, symbols, and concepts that were important to her. She dedicated much of her life and artistic effort to promote the sacred feminine. She believed that viewing God as only male is unbalanced and ultimately unsatisfying. Hopefully this coin will be a tangible object that can help those who knew and loved her remember her. Based on Cydra's words and writings, it would probably be more important to her that we remember that all of us, male and female, were made in God's divine image.
