The Cydra coin was designed by Gregson Vaux but every effort was made to make the coin as much Cydra's as possible. It includes the images, symbols, and concepts that were important to her. She dedicated much of her life and artistic effort to promote the sacred feminine. She believed that viewing God as only male is unbalanced and ultimately unsatisfying. Hopefully this coin will be a tangible object that can help those who knew and loved her remember her. Based on Cydra's words and writings, it would probably be more important to her that we remember that all of us, male and female, were made in God's divine image.
The eight editions are:
Elysian Sea - white blue and coppery glass on metal, satin nickel finish.
Ex Cathedra - solid bronze with an antique finish and no colored enamels.
Requiem - purple, blue, and amber glass on metal, antique golod finish.
Sacred Space - transparent green enamel with antique gold finish.
Saffron Vesture - Cydra's favorite colors, orange, saffron with 24 karat satin gold finish.
Sidereal Fire - red, orange, amber, white glass on metal, foggy copper finish.
Sidereal Motion - white, sky blue, and amber glass on metal, satin nickel finish.
Through a Glass Darkly - enamel with rainbow colors and sparkles, foggy 24 karat gold finish.
!!! Only 50 pieces were minted from each coin of each edition !!!
