To travel back to Quebec City and to have a picture taken with another Bonhomme de Quebec!
The Bonhome de Quebec is the mascot for the Quebec City Winter Carnival. I attended the carnival in 2001 when I was studying at McGill University. This was way before I started geocaching. Over a decade later, I was throwing away an old winter coat when I felt something in the zippered breast pocket. Inside was this Bonhomme, ready for a new adventure. What better way to send him on his way, then as a travel bug.
This travel bug was part of my Moving to Knoxville Travel Bug Race, started in May 2014. After 8 years of living in Las Cruces, NM finally moved. I released 6 new travel bugs all with the mission of reaching Knoxville, Tennessee. After 6 years, 5 of the 6 TBs had gone missing, but his one kept moving around and on January 31, 2021, geocacher jlbagget dropped it in Knoxville completing the race! Way to go Bonhomme!
