This Geocoin represents The Geocacher’s Guide to the Center of our Universe also known as the HQ GeoTour, created by employees of Geocaching. Geocaching HQ is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. That makes Fremont the center of our geocaching universe. It just so happens that Fremont is also officially known as the Center of the Known Universe. Coincidence? We think not.
The design on the back of this Geocoin is purposely in reverse and raised such that you can use it like you would a rubber stamp. Get an ink pad and make your imprints.

Ich bin echt mal gespannt, wie sich das Thema Geo-Tours weiter entwickelt. Noch stehe ich dem Ganzen sehr skeptisch gegenüber. Danke für' Zeigen der schönen Coin, die ich beim Klaav in Köln bewundern durfte.

Es ist mir eine besondere Freude, daß ich zu dieser wunderschönen und seltenen Coin einen Logeintrag verfassen darf. Das Thema "GeoTour" wird ja in Cacherkreisen sehr kontrovers diskutiert und so bin ich mal gespannt, wie sich diese Idee aus Seattle einmal entwickeln wird. Die Coin ist auf jeden Fall gelungen! Vielen Dank, daß ich dieses Schätzchen beim Klaav in Köln bewundern durfte.
