This Geocoin represents The Geocacher’s Guide to the Center of our Universe also known as the HQ GeoTour, created by employees of Geocaching. Geocaching HQ is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. That makes Fremont the center of our geocaching universe. It just so happens that Fremont is also officially known as the Center of the Known Universe. Coincidence? We think not.
The design on the back of this Geocoin is purposely in reverse and raised such that you can use it like you would a rubber stamp. Get an ink pad and make your imprints.

...und auch die haben wir natürlich erfolgreich absolviert, dazu dann natürlich auch die Coin für die Sammlung – hier ist es die erste Version der Coin in rund – diese gab es nicht mehr, als wir 2019 dort waren!!
...and even this was done successfully, and got the coin for the collection finally – this is first version of that coin in round shape – sold out as we’ve been there 2019!!

In der Sammlung „Groundspeak HQ and Around“ las ich nun zum 2. Mal von Benchmarks. Als letztens im Blog verkündet wurde, dass Benchmarks eingestellt werden, musste ich auf mehreren Events rumfragen, ob jemand weiß, was das ist. Immerhin weiß ich zwischenzeitlich, dass das eine Spielart in Amerika war mit einem „Bildchen“.
Erstaunlich finde ich es auch, dass selbst ein Schreibfehler im Namen Begeisterung auslösen kann. Wenn dieser Fehler einem Amerikaner unterlaufen ist, dann genießt der doch bestimmt mittlerweile hohes Ansehen und ist dadurch stinkreich geworden. Hierzulande wäre man vermutlich eher anschließend arbeitslos. Unter Sammler wird die Person bestimmt gefeiert. Zumindest aber der entstandene Coin.
Wie auch immer entdeckte ich unter dieser Überschrift wieder interessante Coins und Geschichten. Vielen Dank dafür! Cattack

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit mir die TB und GC Sammlung von mel-whv anzusehen Danke für das teilen und die Erklärung um welchen TB / Coin es sich handelt. Ich freue mich für die Erlaubnis deine beeindruckende Sammlung die Du mit viel Leidenschaft aufgebaut hast zu discovern. Diese Sammlung hat es wirklich in sich, da steckt viel Zeit drin und es sind richtige Schmuckstücke dabei. Es wird Wochen dauern bis ich alle in Ruhe bewundert habe. Ich bin begeistert.
