Ok. If you actually found it, good for you. It was a nice little trip, wasn't it? But let's be honest. Did you really solve the Puzzle Gauntlet or was it that one person you always call on when you can't solve a puzzle? Yeah, I thought so.

Go ahead and discover this one anyway. You deserve it for the hike if nothing else. But even if you don't get your name on the other list, we won't hold it against you.

Wow, as if the puzzles were not challenging but totally fun, our group began and completed the Gauntlet Hike from beginning to end today. OleSeeker, Catkin, BD1982 and I began about 10:45 AM and finished this afternoon. The hardest cache to find was 3.5 and the honors goes to OleSeeker, who did not want to move forward until she found it. The cache was hidden in a location where the GPS indicated 17 feet, but with so much signal bounce 8-10 feet was indicated by our several units in oh so many places. What a great day to be walking in the woods and such a fun series to complete.

What a marvelous day. It was cool so it made for a nice hike. The trails look like there are some impressive technical bicycle ride around here. And I will have you know that I solved a puzzle all on my own... So what if it was the easiest. I did it my way. I also provided comic relief and took one spectacular forward fall without doing a faceplant. There was a solid retainer bar all twisted into a loop that trapped my right boot to cap when I was distracted by my compass. Luckily no real damage was done, just a couple of very minor strains that seem to be gone. We had great fun tfttb
