War Between the States Voyager

This Tennessee Flag Travel Tag commemorates the deployment of my very first geocache http://coord.info/GC5CN05(Civil War themed) placed at a well known Civil war site here in Franklin TN.

Mission: Visit 35 states of the Civil War Era (listed below and tracked on the map), taking selfies at any Civil War battlefields, monuments, statues, cemetaries and historical sites.

Optional Side Mission: Collect keychain hitchhikers along its journey.  The keychain hitchhiker should represent the US State that this trackable is currently visiting as it travels along its journey. If there is already a keychain that represents the current state, feel free to swap out a keychain with one that may represent your state better than the one you are swapping out.

At the end of its 35 states journey, I'd like to make it back to my original home for retrieval and new marching orders. I look forward to your log entries, selfies and seeing this voyager return with 35 keychains that represent each of the identified states in some way.

Tennessee is my home state so chose the Tennessee Flag Travel Tag to venture around. Since this travel flag commemorates my very first Geocache, a civil war themed cache placed at a civil war site here in Franklin TN http://coord.info/GC5CN05, I wanted this Travel Tag to have an appropriate mission to compliment this deployment. I'm fairly new at Geocaching and sometimes wish the caches I find would be more creative/thoughtful. I've been inspired by WVTim (Gadget Caches) and other "makers".  My hope is to do what I can to raise the geocaching bar a bit starting with cache no. 1. So for this cache and trackable I've put a lot of thought, time and effort into every detail. I started this trackable off with a TN Keychain just to get the ball rolling. I hope you enjoy!
