About This Item

Cama Beach via Stanwood

This travel bug was launched from Cama Beach State Park on the shores of Saratoga Passage (part of Puget Sound), in Washington State.

Cama Beach was founded by LeRoy Stradley in 1934 as a privately-owned fishing resort. Sadly, Mr Stradley passed away in 1938. His daughter, Muriel, and her husband Lee Risk took over the resort and ran it until 1989.

During those years, wooden signs similar to this TB were placed around the region to direct people to Cama.

Bedankt voor het laten zien van uw TB of zelfs complete collectie! Ik heb weer de nodige hele mooie en bijzondere exemplaren kunnen bewonderen. Het blijft fascinerend om te zien hoeveel verschillende soorten TB's en Coins er zijn! Thanks for showing your TB or even complete collection! I was able to admire several very beautiful and special specimens again. It remains fascinating to see how many different types of TBs and Coins there are! Vielen Dank, dass Sie Ihr TB oder sogar Ihre komplette Sammlung gezeigt haben! Ich konnte wieder einige sehr schöne und besondere Exemplare bewundern. Es bleibt faszinierend zu sehen, wie viele verschiedene Arten von TBs und Coins es gibt! Merci d'avoir montré votre TB ou même votre collection complète ! J'ai pu à nouveau admirer plusieurs spécimens très beaux et particuliers. Il reste fascinant de voir combien il existe de types différents de TB et de Coins ! ¡Gracias por mostrar tu TB o incluso la colección completa! Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard I was able to spend more time in northeast Nebraska with the other half of The Von Fanges caching team, but the weather and completely drifted closed roads prevented us from actually doing any geocaching so we spent some time comparing our statistics for caches found and trackables discovered. My list of discovered trackables is substantially longer than my mom's, but she discovered some on Facebook or the owner's profile (while we were staying home during the COVID pandemic) that I missed and has shared her list with me. It took a bit of time once I returned home to Tulsa, Oklahome, to complete the comparison checking each TB Code to ensure that I hadn't already discovered this trackable.
