This is the "Delving Too Deeply" edition. It is an XLE (extremely limited edition) meaning that only 30 coins were made and it will never again be minted. It's predominant colors are black and red with copper metal to reflect the shadow and fire that the Dwarves found far under the Earth. No outsiders know whether their intentions were noble or selfish, wise or foolish, but it is known that they went too far, too fast. The coin is large at 2 inches in diameter and has a unique icon. The coin includes two fire-red gem in honor of the Dwarves' love for gleaming treasure.
The Dwarven Treasure coins feature futhark runes. These ancient letters have been found on weapons and monuments throughout Europe and are believed by some to embody arcane powers. Many people are familiar with the runes due to their prominent use in Tolkien's books "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings".
