Remember, this is a key for a nearby cache, so please do not place it in other caches outside of a 5-10 mile radius of Elgin, IL. 


Please dont hold it in your posession for extended periods of time so that others may use the key to log the cache it belongs to.  If you spot me in a cache please log a sighting, it will help us keep track of the keys better.

    I discovered this TB sitting in the cache [url=http://coord.info/GC13YPA]GC13YPA - Unlimited Ducks[/url] by [url=http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=49bc81e7-2509-447d-999d-eda6236e866f&wid=506f158f-7fc7-4706-b977-f5822d070e76&ds=2]rocky is a very good doggie[/url] but it was not listed as being in the inventory.

    In fact, it appears that the TB that I discovered is the original Rick's Key 3 and not a remade/re-released version as it still has the TB tag attached. The fact that the TB is held by someone else currently also leads me to believe that this is the original. I grabbed this "original" and more details will be presented in the target that this TB unlocks.

    We picked up what we thought was a regular ol' travel bug while doing maintenance on our series.

    Oh No! This key has been in our possession for more than 48 hours. If the writing on the tag wasn't so eensie-weensie-itsy-bitsy crazy microscopic, we mighta seen the 48 hour thing a long time ago!! I mean c'mon! You literally need a flashlight or magnifying glass to read it and I have perfect vision!!

    Had we known we would cause so much heartache by keeping it in our possession longer than 48 hours we would never have taken it!!

    We won't be caching again until Wednesday so I'M SORRY but the world will have to wait until then for this to be back in circulation. What happens if we leave it out of the radius?
