Current Goal

Our travel bug's name is Mr.Buggy. He ended up in my friend's backpack on his way back to UK, but he is wanting to comeback. He also has six goals:

- Visit a statue of Shakespeare and take a photo with it.

- Visit Loch Ness.

- Mr.Buggy is also a big fan of the Olympics fan so he wants to take a photo with the Olympic rings.

- Take a photo with football (soccer) cleats.

- Take a photo with a football (soccer) medal

- Return to California to Chalone Peaks Middle School

About This Item

This travel bug is part of a larger student project involving several classes around the world. It was originally released in the “Olympic Summer” of 2012 somewhere in the UK by two teachers visiting from the United States. This bug has several goals, one of which is to return home to a cache near Chalone Peaks Middle School in California called Cape KC Geo bug Launch Pad.

A student team has developed a series of five goals that can be completed in any order. The team receives rewards for each goal reached. They have also documented their bug’s plight and reasons for wanting to return home. Please do what you can to help this little guy move along and accomplish its goals as quickly as possible.

    I was visiting in Lahti, where I found this Mr. Buggy. I took it to Hämeenlinna and Mr. Buggy visited in Olympic park.
    Year 1952 sommer olympic games were in Finland. Most of the contest were in Helsinki (capital city) but pentathlon were in Hämeenlinna (about 100 kilometers north from Helsinki). Mr. Buggy saw that olympic park.
