TB: For Nicola

Dieser travel bug möchte alle Kontinente bereisen und so viele Länder wie möglich besuchen. Über Fotos freue ich mich riesig. Freiburg, Bielefeld, die Ostsee und Mülheim an der Ruhr sowie Dubai und Indien sind Orte, an denen er besonders gerne vorbei schauen würde.

This travel bug wants to travel to all continents and likes to visit as many countries as possible. Photos of its journey would be great. Freiburg, Bielefeld, the Baltic Sea and Mülheim an der Ruhr, Dubai and India are special places where it would be more than happy to pass by.

Nicola ist der Mensch, der mich zum Geocachen gebracht hat. Das war am 23.04.2011 in Freiburg. Am 07.06.2013 haben wir ihren letzten Cache gemeinsam gefunden. Ein paar Tage später, im Juni 2013, ist sie verstorben. 8 Jahre hatte sie mit ihrem Krebs gelebt ehe sie gegangen ist.

Dies soll aber weder eine traurige Geschichte noch ein trauriger travel bug werden!
Nicola hat das Reisen geliebt und ihr Leben gelebt. Jede Einschränkung hat sie angenommen und das Beste daraus gemacht. Nie hat sie ihren Mut oder ihre Lebensfreude verloren. Ich bin sehr dankbar, dass ich sie kennenlernen durfte und sie ist mir ein wunderbares Vorbild. Sie hat mich zutiefst beeindruckt.

Dieser travel bug möchte so viele Länder bereisen wie nur möglich und dabei auf allen Kontinenten halt machen. Das wäre etwas, was Nicola auch gerne noch getan hätte und in den letzten Jahren, soweit möglich, auch getan hat.

Super wäre es, wenn dieser travel bug in Deutschland in Freiburg, Bielefeld, an der Ostsee und Mülheim an der Ruhr vorbeischauen könnte, die wichtigsten Städte, die ich mit ihr verbinde. Außerdem sind Dubai und Indien wichtige Länder, weil ich dort im Februar 2012 mit Nicola gewesen bin.

Über Fotos des travel bugs von überall auf der Welt würde ich mich auch freuen. Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung von Nicola´s Wunsch. Nicola, ich wünsche dir eine gute Reise.

Nicola is the person, who introduced me to geocaching. That was at the 23.04.2011 in Freiburg in Southern Germany. At the 07.06.2013 we found her last geocache together. A few days later, she passed away. She has lived 8 years with her cancer before she had to leave.

This is not meant to be a sad story or a sad travel bug! Nicola loved travelling and she loved life. She accepted every limitation the disease brought to her and made the best out of it. She has never lost her braveness or her joy of life. I am very thankful that I got to know her and she is a wonderful model for my own life. She impressed me deeply.

This travel bug wishes to travel through as many countries as possible and wants to stop at each continent. That is something, Nicola also would have wished to do and what she had started in the last years, when it still was possible.

It would be great if the travel bug could pass by at Freiburg, Bielefeld, the Baltic Sea and Mülheim an der Ruhr in Germany, which are the cities, that I connect with her. Dubai and India are important countries, because I travelled there with Nicola in February 2012.

I would appreciate it a lot if you upload photos of the travel bug from all over the world. Thank you so much for your support of Nicola´s wish. Nicola, have a wonderful journey.
