O objetivo desta geocoin é ir ao máximo de eventos possível, sempre na companhia dos meus donos, para ser partilhada com todos os geocachers que lá estejam.

Depois da catástrofe natural, chuva e enxurradas, que a 20 de Fevereiro de 2010 destruiu muitas casas e vitimou 40 pessoas na ilha da Madeira, o Rui “Kelux” tomou a iniciativa de propor a realização de uma geocoin para angariar alguns fundos e permitir que a comunidade de geocachers contribuísse para a reconstrução da Madeira. Como explicado pelo próprio, a ideia  foi que parte do preço desta nova geocoin, um euro, fosse entregue a uma instituição de carácter social da região autónoma.

O desenho da geocoin baseou-se numa das propostas do Kelux para a geocoin portuguesa de 2009, que foi modificada para incluir a ilha da madeira e retirar a indicação do ano. O desenho foi apresentado juntamente com a proposta, em tópicos abertos nos fóruns geocaching@PT e geo.pt. A adesão à ideia por parte dos geocachers portugueses foi grande, o que permitiu avançar com o projeto e fabricar cerca de 150 exemplares da geocoin. Numa primeira fase foram feitas amostras em três metais: Antique Copper, Polished Gold e Black Nickel. As versões que acabaram por ser feitas foram diferentes, pois a versão Gold ficou com o acabamento Antique, e a versão Copper passou a ser Polished. O ícone da geocoin, inspirado na bandeira da região autónoma da Madeira, foi também desenhado pelo Kelux.

After the natural disaster, rain and floods, which on 20 February 2010 destroyed many houses and killed 40 people on the island of Madeira, Rui "Kelux" took the initiative to propose a geocoin to raise some funds and allow the community of geocachers to contribute to the reconstruction of Madeira. As explained by the same, the idea was that part of the price of this new geocoin, a euro, was delivered to a social institution of the autonomous region.

The design of the geocoin was based on one of Kelux's proposals for the Portuguese geocoin of 2009, which was modified to include Madeira Island and withdraw the indication of the year. The draft was presented together with the proposal, in open topics in the forums geocaching@PT and geo.pt. The adhesion to the idea by the Portuguese geocachers was great, which allowed to advance with the project and to make about 150 copies of the geocoin. In a first phase samples were made in three metals: Antique Copper, Polished Gold and Black Nickel. The versions that were finished were different, because the Gold version was finished with the Antique finish, and the Copper version became Polished. The geocoin icon, inspired by the flag of the autonomous region of Madeira, was also designed by Kelux.
