The Big Switch

[NL] De (originele) coin is gemaakt ter ere van de dag (2 mei 2000) dat door toedoen van de toenmalige Amerikaanse president Bill Clinton de generieke fout in het satelietsignaal (GPS Selective Availability) op 0 werd gesteld. Hierdoor nam de nauwkeurigheid van het signaal zodanig toe dat geocaching mogelijk werd. 

De originele (metalen) coin is sinds 2011 vermist, Deze trackable "woodie" is nu zijn vervanger.

Hou deze woodie niet zelf maar plaats deze in een andere cache!

 

 

[EN] The (original) coin was made to celebrate the day (may 2, 2000) the former American President Bill Clinton turned off the "GPS Selective Availability" which eventually made geocaching possible

The original (metal) coin has been lost since 2011. This trackable "woodie" is its replacement.

Please do not keep this woodie, but place it in another cache!

This picture is proof of life- TB is still alive and kicking along on its travels albeit very slowly!
We had a disappointing DNF down the road at sublime point however the view was worth the trip. Finding this cache was a good consolation!
