About This Item

Angus

Angus originated from the Gordon Highlanders Museum in Aberdeen, Scotland, before making the trip to Brisbane Australia. The TB owner's grandfather emigrated as a boy to Australia from a small town in Scotland called Balintore. He went by ship then, and the journey took a while. Angus hopes also to travel from the UK to Australia, though hopes his journey is faster than be ship.

Please adhere to the following rules, while still aiming to get the bug back to Australia as soon as possible:

  1. The Bug must be logged into at least one cache in the UK (After initial release cache).
  2. The Travelbug racer has to be placed in at least 5 caches by 5 different geocachers, and in 1 other country other than Australia and the United Kingdom.
  3. The Travelbug may not be posted directly back to Australia.
  4. The Geocacher that grabs the Travelbug must also be the one that puts it in the next cache.

Angus has bowed out of the race, with the tragic news of his demise:

Please accept my apologies for not getting back to you sooner, Brendan.
Singapore airlines managed to lose my luggage on that trip. They have
compensated me for the contents, and have stated that lost luggage
usually turns up within a fortnight or so.

Unfortunately, I stowed the travel bug in the luggage that was lost.
I've been hoping that the airline comes up with the goods, but after
almost a month, I'm becoming less optimistic. I'll obviously purchase a
    replacement [Highlands Of Scotland2].
    Kind regards,
    Mick
