About This Item

New Bern Bear

New Bern NC is celebrating their 300th birthday in 2010 and we really enjoyed finding a few of the caches that have been put out to commemorate the birthday. Across the street from one of the these caches (City Hall - GC233QW) is a very cool gift store with all sorts of connections to the Swiss city of Bern from which New Bern got it's name 300 years ago. It stuck me that it would be a great quest to send a bug back to Bern to celebrate the birthday.
