we found the cache this was last seen in, which is right in the waldo canyon burn area that has been closed for the last two years, the container was completely burnt and the contents were pretty much singed to the point of being unrecognizable. we did retrieve one TB tag and were able to retrieve the tracking number off of it but did not see another. it may have fused to the bottom of the ammo can. my husband said we could go back up and check it again but this poor snail may not have made it.
