...Lapu-Lapu ist der Name des Anführers eines philippinischen Eingeborenenstammes, dem zugeschrieben wird, am 27. April 1521 den portugiesischen Seefahrer Ferdinand Magellan auf der philippinischen Insel Mactan getötet zu haben. Magellan segelte unter spanischer Flagge, um Kolonien zu erobern. Damit wird Lapu-Lapu gemeinhin als der erste philippinische Freiheitsheld gesehen.

...Lapu-Lapu is the name of the chieftain of the native Philippinos who is said to have killed the Portuguese captain Ferdinand Magellan in a battle between the natives and the Spanish colonial soldiers on Mactan island in April 27, 1521. Therefore Lapu-Lapu is regarded as the first National hero of the Philippines.

Unter den ersten 500 Codes sind noch welche nach dem Showroom übrig geblieben. Auch diese grandiosen Coins wollen Beachtung finden. Und diese bekamen sie dadurch sogar noch ein zweites Mal von mir.
