Current Goal

Joe, the quote bug, likes quotes. All kinds kind of quotes...from famous people, celebrities, friends, relatives, yourself, movie quotes, song quotes, etc. They can be funny, profound, weird, whatever. Joe just likes quotes and would like to collect them in the little book he carries around with him.
Joe's up for traveling anywhere and everywhere to find good quotes. Can you help him?

I was more than happy to reunite Joe with his owner! And no, it wasn't planned. Amazing how things come full circle!

Marilyn retrieved this travel bug indirectly from my hands. I had such a good time with it in Texas... my daughter in law and my grandson had to add their favorite quotes, even though they're not "formal" geocachers. I'm delighted that it has gone full circle. Was this reunion planned, or was it serendipity?

This was one of my favorite bugs to follow. Sometimes the quotes were really interesting. I've been following this one since I had it way back in March 2003. I'm glad it made it back home, there should be some good reading in there.

Over eight years ago I placed Joe in Brecksville Reservation Cache in Brecksville, OH. This cache was my fifth find in my first week of caching.
Today, mmacgown, visiting the city I now live in, reunited me with Joe.

Out of all of my trackables out there I'm very glad this one didn't end up like most and go "missing".

I can't wait to read through the rest of the logs and quotes.

Today, I'm bringing Joe with me to Colorado!

Here's what I chose. It is a bit long, but oh so true!

    -Love-
Love is a friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfectio and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Love is conten with the present, it hopes for the future and it doesn't brood over the past. It is the day in, and day out chronicle of irritation, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big vistories and working toward common goals.
If you have it in your life, it can make-up for a great many things that are missing. If you don't have love in your life, no matter what else there is, is not enough.
