Ce Travel Bug a été créé en hommage à une voiture et à un constructeur mythique; André Citroën, ingénieur Polytechnicien, français, né le 5 février 1878, mort le 3 juillet 1935. C’est au salon de paris en octobre 1955 qu’apparaît sa 1ère DS. Elle a été commercialisée pendant 20 ans et a été vendue à près de 1.500.000 exemplaires. J’ai moi-même possédé 3 DS avec lesquelles j’ai fait de nombreux kilomètres. C’était une voiture exceptionnelle. De très nombreux exemplaires roulent encore en France et dans le monde. J’espère que ce TB fera le tour du monde sur la trace de ses consoeurs. Bonne route à toi.
The Travel Bug was created in tribute to a car manufacturer and a mythical, André Citroën, engineer Polytechnique, French, born on 5 February 1878, died on 3 July 1935. It was at the Paris Motor Show in October 1955 that its fate 1st DS. It was marketed for 20 years and has sold nearly 1,500,000 copies. I myself have owned 3 DS with which I have done many miles. It was an exceptional car. Many copies are riding again in France and throughout the world. I hope that the TB will tour the world on the track of her sisters. Good way to you.
