O objetivo desta geocoin é ir ao máximo de eventos possível, sempre na companhia dos meus donos, para ser partilhada com todos os geocachers que lá estejam.

Esta moeda pertence à nossa coleção pessoal, desde 24 de julho de 2014. Pertenceu anteriormente ao geocacher Bolachinha.

A ideia de fazer uma geocoin alusiva ao Algarve partiu naturalmente de um geocacher algarvio, o VespaFriendsAlgarve, que fez a concepção inicial da arte a incluir na geocoin. O desenho final esteve a cargo do Kelux.

A ideia foi apresentada à comunidade em Dezembro de 2007,sendo inicialmente considerados 25 lotes de 10 geocoins cada, que acabaram por passar a 30 lotes devido ao grande interesse que foi demonstrado. Apesar de todos estarem à espera de uma versão única da geocoin, em Gold, a surpresa aconteceu quando apareceu uma geocoin especial, uma versão limitada em Silver, que foi entregue a cada geocacher que participou na fase de reserva. O número de geocoins na versão limitada é de cerca de 25.

O facto desta geocoin ser alusiva ao Algarve (e portuguesa) é bem visível nas duas faces. Na face frontal encontramos uma bonita composição de flores de amendoeira, com a esfera armilar e as cores da bandeira de Portugal ao centro. O ano de produção, nome da geocoin e país estão escritos numa faixa externa da face. O verso apresenta uma composição de elementos típicos do Algarve, com o desenho da região no fundo: o mar e o céu azuis, o sol e uma típica chaminé algarvia.

The idea of ​​making a geocoin allusive to the Algarve came naturally from a geocacher from Algarve, VespaFriendsAlgarve, who made the initial conception of the art to include in the geocoin. The final design was in charge to Kelux.

The fact that this geocoin is allusive to the Algarve (and Portuguese) is clearly visible on both sides. On the front face we find a beautiful composition of almond blossoms, with the armillary sphere and the colors of the flag of Portugal in the center. The production year, name of the geocoin and country are written on an outer band of the face. The verse presents a composition of elements typical of the Algarve, with the drawing of the region in the background: the blue sea and sky, the sun and a typical Algarvian chimney.
