...der Konflikt von Nordvietnam und den Vietcong gegen Südvietnam und den USA führte zu einem der schlimmsten Kriege der Geschichte; aussichtslos für den Westen, sich im Dschungel gegen den dort heimischen Feind durchzusetzen. Insgesamt vier amerikanische Präsidenten waren in dem Zeitraum des Krieges involviert - mit Millionen von Toten unter Soldaten und Zivilbevölkerung. Ich nehme diese Coin als Mahnmal gegen den Krieg im Allgemeinen in die Sammlung auf!!

...the conflict between North Vietnam and the Vietcong against South Vietnam and the USA led to one of the worst wars in history, with no chance for the West to prevail in the jungle against the domestic enemy there. A total of four American presidents were involved in the period of this war - with millions of dead soldiers and civilians. I am adding this coin to the collection as a memorial against war in general!!

A part of mel-whv coin collection could already be discovered during the last years while visiting or chatting with mel-whv 🙂 It is a huge collection and is still growing, so now it is on the time to discover some of the new coins of his awesome coin collection, which were purchased in 2022 😎

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit die TB und GC Sammlung von mel-whv anzusehen. Danke für das teilen und die Erklärung um welchen Coin es sich handelt. Ich freue mich über die Erlaubnis deine beeindruckende Sammlung, die Du mit viel Leidenschaft aufgebaut hast zu discovern. Diese Sammlung hat es wirklich in sich, da steckt sehr viel Zeit drin und es sind richtige Schmuckstücke dabei. Es wird Wochen dauern bis ich in Ruhe alle bewundert habe.
Ich bin begeistert und fasziniert.
