The Might Antar Geocoin was designed by Keith a geocacher from Basingstoke, Hampshire. The batch of gold, silver and brobze (unknown quantity) was believed to have been issued sometime in 2007. If you know anymore about this coin please let me know via my profile on gc.com
The Mighty Antar was a heavy duty tractor unit built by Thornycroft, at Basingstoke, Hampshire from the 1940s. For some decades it was the standard tank transporter of the British Army. Thornycroft's Basingstoke factory was closed in 1969. (for more info vist www.the-antar.co.uk)

At the "Mini" Geocoin Fair (in reality, the third or fourth biggest event I've been to!), I saw this as part of an amazing collection of UK coins. Beautiful coins, kudos to all their creators and the owners who've collected them together and displayed them so nicely.
