Current Goal

The goal was to travel the world showing cachers what happens if they don't use protection (for their geocoins).

Sadly it appears to have been muggled or "collected". If it turns up in the hands of a cacher I would like it to return to Christchurch, New Zealand.

About This Item

Remember 9/11

This is just like any other Remember 9/11 geocoin except in very rough condition. About the time I ordered it some kids started stealing mail from our letterbox. The coin never arrived, though it's packaging and invoice did. A replacement duly arrived fine and is making it's way to New York as we speak. A year after I had reported this one stolen our neighbours daughter found it buried in the gravel in our driveway. Thus the condition you find it in is a result of one year buried in gravel, exposed to the weather and having numerous cars and a 4x4 driving over it.
