What a story this geocoin has! We were on our way to have a hike in K-country with some geocaching friends. We got an early start while they had a late start, thus, we ended up with a bit of extra time on our hands. Fortune, as they say, was smiling on us anyway! We got the notification at the city limits that two new caches were published between the #1 highway and Cochrane. Decision made. Away to a potential FTF we go. We ended up following a old geocaching friend down the road and he graciously drove on to the next one and let us have the pleasure of getting acquainted with Nell Fenwick (http://coord.info/GC3X9RB). We visited with bagelo56 at the next cache before continuing on to our original destination for that wonderful, early autumn hike.
You would think that is where the story ends, but it can't can it? Otherwise, what does that have to do with this lovely geocoin? Well, the CO of Nell emailed us and let us know she would send a coin to us for a FTF prize. Ah, that is where the coin comes in! Not only was the coin a lovely specimen that I had never seen before, but there was also a lovely hand written note and a extra special surprise in the envelope! It was the best and most unexpected surprise I have had in a long time! Count Smiley, my deepest gratitude. You really made me smile!
