Current Goal

This coin is being released as part of the Todie's Wild Ride Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was one third of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road. As part of this coins journey, I would like to collect different tips for drivers to be more aware of motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. Feel free to add any tips you wish to the logs to share with others.

Discovered this coin when I was out caching with djbtex. A great idea for the coin. I'm a motorcyclist and a rep for the MA Retreads motorcycle club and have passed on some motorcycle geocoins with Beware and safe riding on them. We need to be very aware of what's around us.

Grabbed this one today while out caching in the park. Very neat idea and dear to my heart as I ride and have several riders in my family. I also carry a "watch out for bikes" geocoin.
