Summer's Cache-FTFC #24 Mystery Cache

This is our first Puzzle Cache.
It is dedicated to our daughter Summer.
The actual cache is not at the coordinates above.

We hope it is fun and educational.
This cache does accept trade items so feel free to help keep it full of goodies for other cachers.

As some of you know, I deal with a lot of electronics on the engineering level. One service job out of town required some electronic components that just weren’t in my parts supply so it was time to improvise.
Since it was in the middle of the night on Friday, the other engineers had gone home for the weekend so I started looking around for the parts to construct these two circuits.
I looked high and low until finally finding a repair bench on the North side of the building.
In the drawer was a bag of resistors. I counted 29 of them in one small bag.
Out of these 29, none were the exact value so it was time to break out the digital volt/ohm meter and soldering iron. Out of the ones in the bag, three of them could be arranged in a group to get the final value. These three had values of 137.0, 75.87 and 55.0 ohms.
After arranging them in the proper way, I had my first value!
Sort of reminded me of kids riding piggy back.

Now on to the last needed resistor.
None of the remaining values worked out to make the next value so it was off to look for another work station.
Looking all over the building for more resistors, I finally came to an area in the West corner where a pile of resistors were found. Good thing there were 95 in this bag.
I figured I had it made with this many to choose from but much to my surprise, none of the exact values were there so it was back to the calculator and volt/ohm meter, using the same configuration method as before.
Two were put together the same way as the three found at the North table. These values were 50.83 and 15.0 which still didn’t add up to the correct value but right as I was thinking the weekend was going to be a loss, found one resistor that had a value of 1.251.
Placing this one along with the two but configured slightly different, the total correct value was finally obtained.
Now the last one was complete!
Placing the resistor value created from the 29 found on the North table and the value created from the 95 from the West table into the bad PC board, the repair was made to the device and it worked once again.
Since the job was finally complete, this left enough time to make it to the airport in time to fly home and enjoy the weekend.
