Clear Lake Trivia Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If the owner wishes to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 15 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

A difficult Multi-stage, single-cache. This may be able to be solved in one attempt, but expect to spend atleast a couple of hours! Email me with your progress. Let me know if this cache is too hard or too easy! Oh yeh, expect to learn a few things or at the very least, be prepared to use your thinking cap! The cache is a small tupperware-like container.

TRY THIS CHALLENGING CACHE...IF YOU'RE GOOD ENOUGH!"

The cache is NOT located at the above coordinates, but the first step toward finding the cache is at the above coordinates!

CAUTION!

You may be tempted to try to guess answers for a few of the questions without actually traveling to the locations. First of all, that is against the spirit of geocaching. Secondly, thats cheating (ok, so there is no such thing as cheating in geo-caching). Thirdly, the fun of geo-caching is wandering around to see all the sites and sounds of the area. So, resist the temptation to cheat, it ruins the fun and from the first few emails i've recieved, it may not work anyway! Good luck and happy caching!

EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING ON THIS CACHE. IS IT TOO HARD? TOO EASY? DID I MAKE A MISTAKE IN THE PUZZLE? IS IT TOO CONFUSING? JUST LET ME KNOW!

To view the instructions for this cache, visit the following webpage:

www.jfoxonline.com/geocaching/

The document at the above webpage should be printed out (2 pages) before you set out for your day of geocaching!

Don't try to get bogged down with the entire puzzle all at once! Print out the above link and work through it one step at a time. It will be far less confusing that way!

Also, if you have an old printer (or your ink cartridge is running low), before you leave home to start this cache, make sure that you can tell which parts of the printout are BOLD underlines and which are not!

This cache will take atleast several hours and most likely several attempts. Most of the cache can be done 24/7, but a few parts can be done until only about 9pm or so. All of the parts of this cache are located on easy terrain. Some parts of the cache will require some general knowledge (you might have to do your homework), other parts should be fairly easy. The final part of the cache requires Word Jumble skills! Get out your Scrabble dictionaries! For a few of the steps in this cache, you will surely have to watch out for muggles! Heck, you might even have to ask them for help!
