Geocache Description:

Small cache in a nice park that Princeton doesn't advertise.

Princeton has a number of small parks that don't draw much attention from outsiders. This series of caches is designed to encourage the enjoyment of these resources by all.

Hidden Princeton 1 is in Woodfield Reservation. (Click here for a trail map.) Team Og has lived within a few miles of this park for ten years and only learned about this wonderful place a few weekends ago. It has multiple miles of woods trails and a number of interesting views. The hide is roughly a half mile from the trailhead, near a series of scenic small ponds. (It's also possible to access the cache from Pretty Brook Road, but we suggest using the parking coordinates given below and going for a walk.)

This cache is a small aluminum German army surplus butter dish, with type 1a, level 1 OgRoFlage (tm). Starter trade items include an Earth marble, rubber creepycrawler, flag pin, boot sole keyring, and WG$. No bushwhacking should be needed, though bug juice might be a good idea. The hide is within ten feet of the trail and is visible from the trail, but the satellites are jumpy in the area. Bowhunting is permitted in season in this park.

Please make sure the container is watertight when closed (snug but not gorilla-ed, and nothing interfering with the seal), and also please try to hide it better than you found it.
